560. Booth has received further telegram¹ from Potsdam canceling War telegram reported mytel 554 July 28² and authorizing more gradual withdrawal troops from Iran. He is now instructed transfer HQ (headquarters) from Amirabad to Khorramshahr by October 1 but to leave custodial detachment at Amirabad. Orders state OANLC (Office Army Navy Liquidation Commissioner]) staff will remain here.
