My March 30, 1 p.m. The opinion was unanimous at an informal meeting of the Diplomatic Corps today that an international claims commission ought to be insisted on, although it was evident that our action will influence all. I stated simply that I could not offer an opinion as to my Government’s attitude as I had no instructions.
