Case of Miguel Diego at Las Vacas.
Summary.—Upon complaint of H. J. Ware, that Diego’s store had been looted by federal troops, the Consul at Ciudad Porfirio Díaz was instructed to endeavor to secure the return of the stolen goods. Upon protest by the Consul, the federal general at C. P. Díaz telegraphed December 4 to the local commander at Las Vacas to return the property and not to molest foreigners in the future.
