The Presidents Special Assistant (Hopkins) to the Soviet Foreign Commissar (Molotov)1
[Cairo,] 2 December 1943.
I did so much enjoy our conferences together2 and only hope that they may be continued. I am sure that the meeting between Marshal Stalin and the President has done infinite good in bringing our two countries closer together in War and in Peace. I do hope you have reached home safely. With my warmest regards.
