- My arrival in Egypt is bound to be known as I shall pass through to see Catroux and others: moreover British Parliament meets on 23rd and my absence must be explained. Unless I hear from you to the contrary I shall allow it to be stated on 22nd that I am in Cairo.

- This publicity will be unsupported cover for your movement which I think should not be announced for a few days.

- You will be receiving a telegram about military precautions3 which are excellent.
