Please see Villa at once and impress upon him the patriotic duty of using his influence to prevent discord among Constitutionalists. It is of vital importance that they do not allow personal feelings or personal quarrels to jeopardize the victory which they have won. Huerta has gone, and the transfer of government can now be secured without further bloodshed. The outlook is bright for peace and prosperity in Mexico, and the President is very anxious that nothing shall occur to delay the reforms needed to restore justice to the people. Villa has played an important part in winning the victory, and the President feels sure that he will use his influence on the side of harmony and cooperation among the Constitutionalists.
