Article 86, Constitution, and Articles 27 and 36 of Báez electoral law prescribe absolute majority, that is, 317 electors. Jiménez has secured 337. Article 34 of Constitution in regard to congressional power of proclaiming elections should be complied with November 30th if expected quorum meets. Jiménez regarded as next President.
