Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your note of July 23d, with which you enclose a copy of a report, dated July 15th, from the French Consular Agent at El Paso, Texas, covering the treatment of the Christian Brothers of the Zacatecas School, at the hands of the Constitutionalists.
In reply you are informed that the Department has sent copies of this report to its special representatives in Mexico, for their information in connection with future representations they may be called upon to make in behalf of the Christian Brothers.
