General Cándido Aguilar informed this office today that he had given orders for proper protection Panuco-Topila district and that all Americans who have requested permission to carry revolvers have been granted same. Also that he will severely punish any disorders or molestation of workingmen. Admiral Mayo called on Acting Governor Lara this morning and Governor Lara promised to send some troops to Panuco pending arrival troops of General Aguilar. Authorities manifest disposition to give necessary protection.
