Dole—“Haven’t closed door”⁵

Young—“Don’t give up on me”⁶

Domenici—“Will talk to Nunn, call Mon.”⁷

Hansen—“Will see Pres before ‘No’ vote”⁸

Roth—“Still giving thought”⁹
