[Received November 21, 5.27 p.m.]
5255. My 5028 November 11, 8 p.m. and 5128 November 13.5 My French colleague informs me that he learns from Minister for Foreign Affairs that Crown Prince as well as his suite and that of Emperor are no longer considered by the Government of the Netherlands as interned. This decision being taken in view of the release in Holland of all interned persons as well as prisoners of war who are interned. Netherlands Premier made statement in Chamber this afternoon to the effect that ex-Kaiser had arrived as private person and would be treated as such, but it was duty of Dutch Government to take care that hospitality will not be abused.
