Special Agent Canova to the Secretary of State.

Zacatecas, October 2, 1914.

The convention of generals⁶⁵ which met in Mexico City yesterday will adjourn to hold an open caucus in Aguascalientes beginning on the 5th and lasting until the 10th, when the convention will be called to order and will terminate its work in Aguascalientes.

A telegram received here today by Governor Acuña Navarro from General Lucio Blanco, who signed as secretary of a committee of fifty-eight generals, gives this information, and states that the First Chief has expressed his entire conformity with this program and his willingness to abide by the decision of the convention.
