A commission composed of the American Minister, Mr. Sullivan, Ex-Governor Fort of New Jersey and Mr. Charles Cogswell Smith, attorney-at-law, of New Hampshire, left Santiago, Cuba, today proceeding on board U. S. S. Prairie first to Puerto Plata and thence to Santo Domingo City. Arrange for customs facilities for commission, requesting such in the name of the Government of the United States.
