Habana, October 1, 1914.
The House yesterday passed Amnesty Bill for all accused or convicted of murder, attempted murder or assault and battery, providing offender is a veteran of War of Cuban Independence. Further, all accomplices, and those convicted of newspaper libel whether veterans or not. The result of this law will be the liberation of Asbert and Arias: the murderers of General Rivas, Chief of Police of Habana.
It is probable that the Senate will act tomorrow.
