Your July 16, 5 p.m. General Natera, Governor of Zacatecas, at present in Monterey disclaims any knowledge of death and persecution of Christian Brothers. States that Villa would know of the facts in the case. Have made verbal and written representation to Governor Carranza in the matter. Welfare of Christian Brothers at Saltillo reported to Department yesterday.
