The Brazilian Minister to Mexico to the Secretary of State.
Mexico City, October 6, 1914.
Sir: Referring to your telegraphic communication 217 of August 27 last, relative to the American Mining and Milling Company of Guanajuato, I have the honor to inform you, so that the company in question be advised, that the Foreign Office on the date of October 1st, has been pleased to advise me that proper orders were issued to the collectors of taxes at Guanajuato, that no new payment shall be made on their properties, including Siglo XX, Dolores, Edwin E. Harriet, Corwin and Green, and those of the Consolidated Mining and Milling Co., known as Meliza and Ana Maria.
