Contents your April 24, 10 a.m., were conveyed to the British Ambassador here. He immediately offered to cable the British Minister at Mexico to make representations in behalf of all the foreigners involved, and suggests that if you will give all information involving possible loss of human life direct to the British Admiral at Veracruz, he will instruct the Admiral to take all necessary steps looking to a solution of each case. In this way time will be saved. Copy of what goes to the British Admiral should be forwarded to the British Consul at Veracruz.
