Joseph A. Marchani, clerk in American Consulate, Saltillo, arrived here this morning. Reports all Americans reported arrested now released with exception Vice Consul Silliman. Marchani left Saltillo May 8; states was taken from jail to Consulate under heavy guard and compelled under threat of death open safe and deliver all records including Red Code and three hundred pesos and jewelry left at Consulate for safe keeping. Believes copies of Red Code being made for distribution among federal officers. Consulate now held by guard of hundred federals.
