Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your note of the 11th ultimo, extending an invitation from your Government to the Government of the United States to participate in the Fourth Pan American Conference to be held at Buenos Aires in July, 1910, and in reply beg to express the department’s deep appreciation of your esteemed favor and to say that this Government will be very happy to send representatives to the conference.
The selection of delegates of the United States will be made as soon as practicable, and their names communicated to you through the American Legation at Buenos Aires to the Government of the Argentine Republic.
