Sir: I have to say with reference to your note of the 15th ultimo that, as I learn by a letter of the 20th instant from the governor of Texas, Rómulo Sanchez was discharged from jail more than a month previous to the date of his letter. He adds, “At no time was any question raised as to the jurisdiction of the court by reason of the land in litigation being foreign territory.”
