1471. I have been informed today that Turkish Government has accepted validity of argument that the seven survivors of the crew of the Liberator which crashed off coast of southern Turkey be regarded as “shipwrecked mariners” (my 1388R, August 8) and has ordered their release.35
Please inform General Arnold.
