Following from Consul General [at] Seoul April 11, 5 p.m. Yesterday gendarmes entered Severance Hospital, American institution, and took to police station under protest of surgeon, three Korean patients suffering from serious gunshot wounds inflicted by police. Superintendent general police assured Curtice who demanded explanation, that action was strictly according to law as men were criminals. Report follows.63
