Your May 26, 6 p.m. I have just received a note from President Bertrand to the effect that no enemy properties have been taken over up to the present time by the Government of Honduras and that inasmuch as Germans here filed protest to declare Honduranean alien property law unconstitutional nothing can be done until the Supreme Court renders its decision. Nothing definite can be obtained either from the President or Alien Property Custodian.
