Aguascalientes, November 9, 1914, 11 p.m.

The committee sent by the Convention to see Carranza telegraph Gutiérrez that Carranza now asks for more time and states his willingness to deliver the Executive Power if the Convention will elect the Provisional President not for twenty days but until the constitutional president is elected and inaugurated. This would take two weeks and upset the work of the Convention, therefore inadmissible.
