Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your note of the fifteenth of December by which you convey to me the pleasing information that you have arrived in Washington as the accredited Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria near the Government of the United States and request the designation of a time when you may call upon me to pay your respects.
In reply I beg to say that I shall be glad to see you at the Department of State on Thursday, December the seventeenth, at 11.30 o’clock a.m.
