The President is cabling to Queen Elizabeth appropriate condolence on death of the King. You will convey to the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs the sorrow felt by the Government of the United States on the lamentable death of his Majesty, the King, and my own personal sympathy in this great bereavement which has befallen Roumania.
