Mr. Secretary of State: In continuation of my note No. 1740 of January 27 last and forwarding to your excellency herewith 4 copies of a list giving the names of the Powers that have signed the Opium Convention, I have the honor to inform you that the Convention has been signed:

- By Great Britain for the Leeward Islands January 30, 1914; for British Guiana and British Honduras February 11, 1914; for the Government of the South African Union March 11, 1914; for Zanzibar, North Rhodesia, and North Basutoland, the protectorate [Page 927] of Bechuanaland and Swasiland March 28, 1914; for the colony of Barbados April 4, 1914; and for Mauritius and its dependencies April 8, 1914.
