Sir: The Department has received your dispatch No. 524 of August 6, 1914, in regard to the estate of the late Mr. William S. Benton.
You are instructed to call the attention of General Villa to the fact that a representative of the Benton estate has been continuously in charge of the property and that the temporary tenants upon the property should be informed by Villa that they are tenants of the Benton estate and must pay their rents to the estate’s representative.
