I to-day received following from Villa regarding delivery of Benton’s body:
Very sorry can not deliver Benton’s body at present time. When time comes to do it, I will comply with my obligations, and will give an account of my proceedings to the whole world.
I immediately telegraphed him text your telegram, and reiterated my request. Expect reply in morning.
