[Telegram.]
Vera Cruz,
April 27, 1914.
Garden effected transit of over 40 Americans from Mexico to Vera Cruz. The British cruiser Hermione took 1241 American refugees from Tampico to-day. Americans arriving from Mexico City state that Carden has done utmost for our nationals. I have great fear that several Americans have been injured if not killed in Mexico City.
