On January 11, 1951, the United States and Costa Rica signed at San Jose a Point IV General Agreement for Technical Cooperation, which entered into force on the same date. The agreement was transmitted to the Department of State under cover of despatch 544, from San Jose, January 11, 1951, not printed (818.00–TA/1–1151).
