Palestine:
We have just had word from the British Embassy that Mr. Bevin has decided to postpone the statementon Palestine which he had expected to make in the House of Commons tomorrow. The Embassy has no information concerning the length of postponement but is telegraphing to London immediately the text of the communication which Lord Halifax received from you this morning on the subject.
