118. My 114, April 18, 5 p.m. While Jordan was in King’s camp King repeated request for written statement of intended British aid to Saudi Arabia and said if adequate assistance could not be had from British he would appeal to oil company or American Government.
Jordan was unable to give desired statement but promised to secure data in Cairo and to answer when he and General Paget visit King at Riyadh about April 26.
