995. To Wallace Murray from Landis. Have been informed by the British that Jordan, British Minister to Saudi Arabia, will be in Cairo next Monday for the Middle East Financial Conference. They say that London after consultation with you has instructed Jordan to discuss certain aspects of supply to Saudi Arabia with me. In the light of the existing Saudi Arabian situation, I would be pleased to receive any instructions that you may have on this matter.
