Your 750³ is received at sea. I also deeply regret my inability to come to Scotland for this meeting.

It appears now that I should be able to arrive in Quebec on the 10th or 11th of September for a meeting of the Combined Staff on the Teheran scale.

My consultations with the military and naval commanders in the Pacific area have been most interesting and valuable.⁴
