- Although the Log, ante, p. 291, indicates that White was present at this meeting and that Cherwell was not, it is clear from White’s memorandum printed ante, p. 330, that White remained in Morgenthau’s suite at the Chateau Frontenac while Morgenthau and Cherwell went to the Citadel for this meeting with Roosevelt and Churchill.↩
