Referring to your numbers 371 and 372,2 in consideration of the fact that so far I have had no word from UJ though I have wired him, I am in agreement with your suggestion that the “ Quadrant ” conference be started about August fifteenth in the location of Montcalm.

Please inform me as early as possible of exact date of meeting that will suit your arrangements for transportation. If UJ moves I think August seventeenth would suit me better.
