The information set forth above is derived from the Log, ante, p. 532, which adds that the meeting lasted until 12:30 a.m. Elliott Roosevelt (pp. 113–114) indicates that from what little he overheard of the meeting, the subject of discussion was the de Gaulle-Giraud controversy.
