6080. Your telegram Taut 185.2 My immediately following telegram gives text of declaration which President has re-drafted, and which Prime Minister has approved. He realises that the order of mention of Governments is not as we should have it, but President pressed this arrangement.

- State Department are giving it to foreign representatives concerned to secure approval from their Governments.

- I am doing the same on Prime Minister’s instructions to Dominion representatives, including Mr. Langstone for New Zealand.
- 4.
- I am awaiting telegram in reply to my telephone message to Bridges about India. Prime Minister and President both anxious to include India, especially in view of war developments.
