137. Reliably informed Poland has not slightest intention of joining German-Japanese anti-Communist front. Colonel Beck15 remarked to me on 24th that “The Polish Government’s relations with the Soviet Government are always formally correct.” Poland ignores the Third International and paradoxically has less fear of Communist propaganda than have many countries whose frontiers are not contiguous to Russia.
