Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your note, No. 29, of the 12th instant, replying to the report of the secretary of the Colorado State board of health, and the comments of the governor of that State thereon, touching the alleged discrimination against Japanese subjects in the enforcement of quarantine against bubonic plague.

In reply I beg to inform you that your note has been communicated to the governor of Colorado for his appropriate consideration.
