Sir: Referring to instruction No. 236, of March 20 last, directing you to inform the Government of Honduras that the Government of the United States insists upon the payment of an indemnity of $10,000 for the murder of Frank Pears, I have now to inquire if the Government of Honduras has made answer to that demand? If it has not, you will remind it of the importance of the matter.
