742. Refer telephone conversation June 550 and your 992 May 31. Send formal note to Foreign Office requesting that suggestion be made to the court, or that other appropriate measures be taken, to prevent execution of judgment against RDC on the grounds that it is entitled to immunity as an agency of this Government owned and controlled by it. If questioned concerning legal grounds for this request merely state that you are acting under specific instructions of your Government. Please report outcome immediately by telegraph or telephone.
