59. Your 41, January 12, 7 p.m.31 Postpone any approach to Ecuadoran Government concerning the Galápagos agreement pending further instructions.32 The matter is receiving urgent consideration here.
Department would, however, appreciate receiving your own opinion as to the likelihood that the Ecuadoran Government would be agreeable to postpone the signing of any agreement until after the May elections.
