Strang today notified me officially that United Kingdom Government approve (1) text of agreement and covering report on Control Machinery in Germany of November 14 and (2) text of the protocol on Zones of Occupation in Germany of September 12, as modified and completed by the agreement of November 14 on amendments to the Protocol on Zones (Embassy’s 9972 November 14, 10 p.m.;88 originals transmitted in Embassy’s despatches 19196 and 19215 of November 14),89 as submitted by the European Advisory Commission to the three Governments.
