1008. Embassy’s 951, September 24, paragraph 1. Embassy obtained possession today of the 3 bomb sights and other secret instruments which were part of the equipment of the 3 United States Army bombers interned in the Ankara airport. Arrangements have been made to obtain the bomb sight and secret instruments in the bomber interned at Arifiye upon the conclusion of the holidays here. As soon as the Embassy has obtained possession of all the instruments I shall forward them by special courier to the appropriate authorities in Lydda.
