The organizations here which are deeply concerned with the improvement of prospects for colonization in Brazil have urged me to telegraph you requesting that the President or the Secretary urge upon Senhor Aranha,³⁵ now in Washington, that Brazil take prompt and decisive action in the premises. It would be useful for us here if you could wire me such request of Aranha has been made. [Myron Taylor.]
