Department’s 124, September 21, 7 p.m. Standard Oil Company informs me that Harden and Bronson,29 now here discussing situation at length with Argentine authorities, have sent them a joint letter containing main objections to marketing arrangement. Standard Oil Company states that idea of time limit to accept or reject arrangement has apparently been abandoned for the present.
Will keep Department informed by telegraph.
