- Morrison calls my attention to an item in the French press to the effect that French in full agreement with the British had worked out a project to present in the League Second Committee. He does not believe that the French Government inspired this but that it was simply an erroneous rumor. He said that in any event it was completely untrue and that they were not working on anything with the French and that the British position remained precisely as he had described it to me.
