171. In an appeal to the National Socialists and German people, Chancellor observes that with Sunday’s plebiscite victory and the whole administration in National Socialist hands 15 years struggle after power has closed; the present task is to strengthen unity and win the last remnant of people for National Socialist ideas and doctrines in a determined ingenious and persevering campaign; decisions for execution of this action have already been taken and will be carried out with National Socialist rapidity and thoroughness.
Hitler also publicly thanked the Reichswehr for its oath of allegiance and again upheld its inviolability as the sole bearer of arms in the Nation.
